New Delhi: Corona cases in the national capital Delhi are breaking records every day. In such a situation, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that 17 thousand corona cases will come to the capital on Friday. Whereas till Thursday this figure was 15 thousand. In such a situation, taking vigilance, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued a new guideline.

What do DDMA guidelines say?

Let us tell you that the weekend curfew is going to start in Delhi on Friday night. Meanwhile, DDMA has issued a guideline to open shops of non-essential goods in malls, shopping complexes, and markets for the whole week from Friday. On the basis of this, shops of non-essential goods will be able to open everywhere. It has been told in this guideline that how shops will open on an odd-even basis and what will be the arrangement in the weekly market.

Special care has to be taken about timing

According to the order, shops in markets/complexes and malls dealing with non-essential goods will now be allowed to open on an odd-even basis between 10 am and 8 pm. Along with this, only one authorized weekly market (with 50 percent capacity) will be allowed to open in each zone every day.

Must see this rule before traveling to Delhi

Along with the night curfew, now there will be a complete curfew in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. The extension of the Night Curfew, which comes into force from 10 pm every Friday, will continue till 5 am on Monday. There will be no discount of any kind during the day.

All government offices will be completely closed except essential services like hospitals etc. During this, government employees will work from home.

All private offices in Delhi will run with only 50% working staff.

Metro and buses will run at full capacity in Delhi. But during this, it is necessary to have a mask.

Who will get the discount and what will be done for it

Who will get the discount during the weekend in Delhi?

Officers associated with essential and emergency services will get exemption in night and weekend curfew on showing valid I card.

Officers of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Institutions will also be exempted from showing the I-card.

Judges of Supreme Court, High Courts, and District Courts and Tribunals, Judicial Officers will be exempted. They advocate going for the court hearing along with the staff members will be allowed to leave on production of I-card, service I-card, photo entry pass, or permission letter issued by the court administrator.

Diplomats from other countries will also get an exemption.

Doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff will get exemption on showing I-card.

Exemption on the production of valid iCard to electronic and print media.

What are the rules for pregnant women in curfew?

Pregnant women and patients will be allowed to accompany the attendant (doctor's prescription, prescription, medical paper required)

What will be the rule for people going for the corona vaccine or covid test?

During the weekend curfew in Delhi, there will be an exemption for going for Kovid test or vaccination. For this, you can show the details of your registration on the Kovin app.

What to do if you want to go to the railway station, airport, wedding and give exams?

The ticket will have to be shown on arrival or departure from the airport, railway station, or ISBT. Students going to appear in the exam will get a discount on showing the admit card. 20 people will be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony and the marriage card will have to be shown for that.

What domestic helpers (meds) will not be able to move?

The Delhi government has made it clear that essential services i.e. domestic helpers working in homes in Delhi (such as working drivers, gardeners, maids, or cooks) will also not be able to move during the weekend curfew. Satyendra Jain said that people can do their own work for two days. So much has to be done to stop the infection. Restaurants will also remain closed during this time. Officials said that home delivery of e-commerce will also be closed. Only goods related to essential services such as medicines or food items will be able to be delivered.

Who will need an e-pass?

In Delhi, such people who are associated with essential services, but have not issued any valid identity card from the government or any institution, will be issued an e-pass.
